We did it! We made it to March 1st! The days are just a little bit longer and the sun has made an appearance a few glorious times. With snow melting and the days a little longer and warmer, it’s felt good to walk around outside and open the doors and windows a bit! If you are local and happen to be in the Metamora area enjoying this beautiful Spring like weather, stop by the studio this weekend. We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon - five. There are cute places to shop and grab a coffee or a glass of wine and some delicious food in the Village of Metamora. While you are enjoying the little town, come check out the new, limited edition, daisy crossbody bags I made just for you! Hand painted and crafted right here in Metamora, MI. They are my best sellers year after year and are pretty much limited to once or twice a year for purchase. People keep telling me that they “still have their bag” after all these years. I love that! And it's because I make these myself. I know how I am with my bags and how they are treated so I make sure each bag that I create will be sure to endure. Each crossbody is handcrafted and made with beautiful, but durable, custom hardware and webbing. After I paint and sign each flower panel they are sealed to protect against the weather and fading from the sun. You can even remove the strap and wash the bag in the washing machine if needed! Each bag is truly one of a kind.
Also at the studio my “Coastlines” collection will be on display. The framed originals will be avaiable for purchase this weekend and prints will be available on the ShellyJackStudio website next weekend. This collection was inspired by our many trips to the Lake Michigan coast and specifically to Arcadia Bluffs.
